It takes a few pathbreakers to make a difference. Saroj Kumar Jha is one such driven individual, who dreamt big, despite the odds. His dream was to join the Space Research Organization (ISRO) as a Communication Engineer. His perseverance and resolve bore fruit, and today he is a part of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), India’s premier nuclear research facility. 

Needless to say, he had a successful academic journey- After having completed his Higher Secondary in 2009, scoring 80% in Science; and securing a rank of 1797 in WBJEE exam, he got admitted in Heritage Institute of Technology for B. Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with the help of an education loan. 
His family’s adverse financial circumstances, meant that he could not pursue further studies without financial aid- it is at this time that Harsh and Payal Hada foundation stepped in to support him in fulfilling his dreams, by providing his college fee. This eased the load on Saroj’s father to support Saroj and his two siblings towards their higher education. 

In 2013, with B. Tech degree in hand, Saroj joined Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Bangalore, after completing his training in Trivandrum, Kerala. With a mind to also pursue M. Tech, Saroj commenced preparations for the ISRO examination. 

After two years at TCS, he joined Bhabha Atomic Research Centre as a Scientist. (Department of Atomic Energy). The determined young man is not only an achiever, but is also a leader among those who have contributed to HPF and continue to do so. We laud the spirit of people like Saroj who push boundaries and inspire young minds to follow their dreams. 

Meet Kushal Jaiswal. An ordinary boy with an extraordinary story of grit and perseverance. Today, Kushal is a Regional Finance Manager at Pernod Ricard, one of the largest alcoholic-beverage companies in the world.

Upon becoming a Chartered Accountant, his professional career started with Bharat Petroleum, a leading oil and gas company in India.

However, his journey began in a humble household and his father, the lone earning member, worked hard to put his son through school (Don Bosco School, Liluah). Kushal did his father proud by securing an outstanding 95% in his ICSE in 2010.

It is true that life responds to those who deserve it- In 2010, Kushal was selected for scholarship by Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation which supported him not only to complete school, but also an education at St. Xavier’s College and a Chartered Accountant course.

As expected, the diligent young boy did not let HPF down- securing a whooping 97% in ISC (2012), and a graduation CGPA of 8.03 (2015), Kushal proved himself worthy of the scholarship by completing his industrial training at IBM, and becoming a Chartered Accountant in 2017.

The job offers from Wipro and BharatPetroleum completed his victory. Having accepted the offer from BPCL in 2017 and now as a Manager at Pernod Ricard, Kushal not only stands tall for himself and his family, but also supports HPF in furthering their noble cause to support well deserved candidates such as himself to realize their dreams.

“For it is in giving that we receive” –Having experienced hardship from a tender age, Piyush understands the truth in this aphorism all too well and has the wisdom to implement it in his life. In his words- “Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation has supported me economically to bring myself to a position where I will be able to sustain my family. I look forward to remaining associated with the foundation in the future as well, and to performing my responsibilities towards society.” 
The conscientious young man is one of the first to give back to our foundation. 

Coming from modest family background, with limited means, Piyush has come a long way. Today, he is a software engineer at Google (Hyderabad)- the American giant where 2 million people apply and aspire to work at, each year. Needless to say, this is our young lad’s childhood dream come true. 

Let us take a sneak peek into his educational achievements- Scoring a remarkable 90% in his ISC in 2010, and 94% in ISC in 2012, Piyush successfully cleared his JEE and went on to complete a BTECH in Information Technology at NIT Durgapur in 2016. Having seen Piyush through grades XI, XII, and college, HPH was proud of his campus recruitment at Arcessium India Private Limited, a D.E. Shaw Subsidiary in 2016; and then at Google in 2020. A long association with Piyush and his family (his younger brother Prabhat also having been a successful scholar with us), warrants immense gratification on our part, as they set a brilliant example for our future scholars at HPF.

“One of the secrets of life is to make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks”- Jack Penn.  Abhay Lath had no dearth of stumbling blocks- However, with focus and determination, he ensured that he turned them into stepping stones.

Coming from a family of five, Abhay’s father, an accountant at a private firm in Purulia, was struggling to finance the education of his three children. But he made a commitment early on in his life to instill in them a love of education.  After qualifying with excellent results in the 12th board examination, Abhay did not hesitate to take a year off for fulfilling his duties to support his family. Thereafter, he secured 94% when he re-appeared for his 12th examination; thus, ensuring an admission into the prestigious St. Xavier’s college for B. Com Honors (2016-2019). 

A multitasker, Abhay simultaneously commenced preparation for Actuaries in 2016. Needless to say, his financial requirement for college, actuaries, and hostel expenses, was no petty sum. He overcame this difficulty by receiving full scholarship from the Institute of Actuaries of India; and from Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation towards his college fees. The deserving candidate made good use of his scholarships and became a qualified Actuary along with receiving a Bachelors of Commerce certificate in 2019.

We are proud that Abhay’s hard work bore fruit, when he was offered a job at Swiss Re, Bangalore as a Corporate Actuarial Analyst in 2019. After that he got an opportunity as a Team Lead (Actuaries) with Met Life.

Currently (August ’25), he is working as a Manager at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Pune, one of the leading organizations of India offering life and terms insurances. He is also among our HPF’s scholars’ who is supporting and contributing back to the cause of education! We wish him all the best for a bright future.

I am pleased to inform you that I have been selected to work at Swiss re, Bangalore as a Corporate Actuarial Analyst. Ma’am, this is a start into the next phase of my career. A career, I could only dream of, a few years ago.” 

Shruti leads a promising career as a Manager at MSKA & Associates, an independent member firm of BDO International today. Previously she worked as a Senior Consultant at Grant Thornton. Her story is a testament to the transformative power of education.

Shruti was a scholarship holder in her school and she cleared her Class X board exam in 2014 with good grades. She has two siblings, who along with her were also pursuing higher education. Her elder sister Sonal is also an HPF scholar. Her father too went through many hardships and her mother being a homemaker found it difficult to pay for all of their educational expenses. 

Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation supported Shruti during her Class XI and XII. She passed HS board exam in 2016 and aspired to do B.Com and Chartered Accountancy for which she needed further help.

HPF helped her with her college fees and towards CA course fees as well. Shruti successfully graduated from Shri Shikshayatan College in 2019. While she was in college, she got into Grant Thornton for articleship. Seeing her performance, they offered her a full-time role as a Consultant in December 2020, which she accepted and got promoted to a Senior Consultant at Grant Thornton in August '21. 

Shruti has worked hard towards her goals and today she is able to take care of her family. The determined young girl has done us further proud by contributing towards the education of other HPF deserving scholars. We wish Shruti all the very best in all her future endeavors.

“The dictionary is the only place where success comes before work”- Vince Lombardi. Srishti Karnani appreciated this aphorism all too well- life was never easy for the young girl, who belonged to a family of five, and witnessed her father’s struggles in order to support the family. 

Despite the odds stacked against her, Srishti never lost sight of her goals. Her hard work paid off, and today, she works as Assistant Manager at Deloitte U.S., (Hyderabad), a leading global provider of financial advisory and related services. 
To this end, Srishti persevered, and was consistent in her academic achievements- after completing the 10th and 12th grade in 2011 and 2013, with 81% and 86.8% respectively, Srishti gained admission in St. Xavier’s college, Kolkata. Thereafter, Harsh and Payal Hada foundation stepped in to assist her in completing college, and to prepare her for a Master’s in Business Administration. 

The determined young girl has done us further proud by sponsoring one of our scholars towards his college fees. We wish Srishti all the very best in all her future endeavors.

Punit, like many other aspiring students in our country, dreamt of being a Chartered Accountant. A sincere student with a good academic record, he applied to HPF After completing his 12th board exam in 2010. He took admission in St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata for B.Com Honors and along with that pursued 2 professional courses – CA and CS.
However, with limited source of income, it was becoming increasingly difficult for his father to meet the educational expenses of both his children. 
He was awarded 100% scholarship for his 2nd and 3rd year college fees. Along with it, HPF also awarded him 100% CA Final registration fee.
Punit successfully completed his B.Com course from St. Xavier’s College in 2013 and appeared for CA Final in May 2014.
Today, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary. He worked in Caterpillar India Pvt. Ltd. from November 2014 – March 2018. Post that, he completed his MBA from Indian School of Business in April 2019.
Presently (July 2022) he is employed at Peel-Works Pvt. Ltd. as Profitability Manager. 
He is also one of the contributors amongst our scholars who has taken the initiative to give back to HPF to support other meritorious scholars. We are proud of him and wish him all the best.

Adarsh, a true example of a perfect winner! A scholar of HPF from 2015, he was a sincere student and aspired to be an engineer. His parents played a very important role in his life. They encouraged him to work towards a brighter and better future. 
HPF supported him for both Class XI and XII school fees. He successfully completed CBSE 12th board exam with 80% marks in 2017 and subsequently secured a WBJEE rank of 2036.This helped him get enrolled at Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata under TFW scheme for B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. HPF also supported him for his college admission fee.
Adarsh performed well in college and on completing B.Tech in July 2021, he was offered a job by three big companies – TechM, Capgemini and TCS. Eventually, he accepted the offer from TCS in August 2021. 
Adarsh has also started to contribute back to HPF to support other meritorious and needy scholars. We wish him good luck in his professional career ahead.

Dr. Erum’s story is one of extraordinary grit and perseverance. A simple girl from a humble background, she dreamt of being a Gynecologist one day.
Belonging to a large family with several siblings, Dr. Erum knew all too well that life was about hardship and struggle, to say the least. 
Erum appeared for WBJEE in 2014 and secured a rank of 1188! With this rank she got into Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital for MBBS. She gave her final exam in January 2019 and graduated with Honors in Pediatrics and Medicine.
In March 2020, Dr. Erum was appointed as Junior Resident Doctor under the Department of Pediatrics and Medicine by Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital.
Her desire to pursue Master of Surgery was fulfilled in 2022, when she cleared her PG NEET with an All-India Rank of 12828 out of 1.79 lac students, and got a chance for M.S in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Midnapore Medical College & Hospital.

Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation awarded her with 100% Class XI - XII fees and NEET coaching fees in Aakash Institute. During her MBBS course, she was awarded with books, accommodation fees and medical instruments.
She is an inspiration for all our HPF scholars. She has also started contributing back to HPF to help other doctors achieve their goals. We are proud of her!
HER WORDS – “I have completed my 5.5 years of MBBS course and had my convocation ceremony on 27th February 2020. It's like a dream come true for me as well as for my parents. Whatever I am today and the prefix 'Dr.' before my name is all because of your blessings. My family and I are really thankful to you. I have joined as JUNIOR RESIDENT DOCTOR in the department of PAEDIATRICS MEDICINE from 1st march 2020.”

Subham, like many other aspiring students in our country, dreamt of being an engineer. A sincere student with a good academic record, he gave his class X and class XII board exams in 2013 & 2015 and scored 82% & 84% in Science respectively. 
He appeared for WBJEE and secured a good rank. He was allotted a seat in Future Institute of Engineering and Management for B.Tech in Electronics Communication and Engineering (2015-2019) and got himself admitted under TFW scheme. Subham worried about the finances that would be required for his higher education as he also had a younger brother who, like himself was a dedicated student and wanted to pursue Chartered Accountancy.
His story too, like many others is motivational and shows us that you can climb mountains to reach to your desired destination!
HPF supported him towards his Class XI & XII fees and accommodation (hostel) expenses throughout his B.Tech course.
He performed consistently well got placed in Cognizant Technology Solutions through campus recruitment drive and joined CTS from August 2019. 
Currently (February 2022) Subham is an Associate Consultant with Infosys, Bangalore.
Subham is also one of the HPF recipients who has started to contribute back to HPF from 2021 to further the noble cause.  We are extremely proud of him and wish him good luck.

Akshay completed CBSE 12th in 2012 scoring 92.5% from a school in Purulia, relocated to Kolkata and took admission for B.Com in Umesh Chandra College. He also registered for the CA course. Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation helped him with a part of his CA course fee. He completed B.Com Honors with 69% and cleared his CA Final exam in May 2017 with 56.6%.
Right after completing CA, he got a placement as an Associate with Ernst & Young, Mumbai. After completing 4 years at Ernst & Young, he left his job and started his own venture. Akshay is an Entrepreneur now, (August 2022), currently building his company “InstaFiling” with a sole motive to provide affordable finance, taxation, and legal services to all micro, small, medium, and large businesses. 

The conscientious young boy, whose brother, Abhay Lath, has also been a scholar of HPF, not only did wonders for himself and his family, but is also giving back to Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation to support candidates like himself! We are proud of him and wish him all the best.

Jyotsna’s story is one of immense courage and determination. From a very young age Jyotsna shouldered the responsibility of being the eldest sibling with remarkable strength. She aspired to become an engineer and today (2022) she is a successful Software Engineer with GitHub, Hyderabad (Subsidiary of Microsoft)
She completed Class X in 2009 with 95.5% and Class XII in 2011 with 96% from Mahadevi Birla Sishu Vihar. She secured an excellent rank in WBJEE and got admission at Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Berhampore with B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.
Her father used to run a timber supply business and was facing financial difficulties in supporting the education of all 3 children. Since she was a bright student and had been a consistent rank holder, Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation supported her for her college fees along with accommodation expenses.
Jyotsna demonstrated excellent academic performance in college and scored a final GPA of 9.04, the highest in her department.
After completing B.Tech in 2016, she worked with Oracle and Goldman Sachs and then got a job offer from Microsoft, Hyderabad in 2019. 
Jyotsna has also started contributing to HPF to support other meritorious and needy students. She is supporting her siblings in their higher education and sets a brilliant example for other scholars of HPF and we are extremely proud of her!

The inspiring story of Dr. Arun Kumar Tiwari is one of grit, determination, and an aspiration to make a difference in society. Belonging to a large family with several siblings, Dr. Tiwari knew all too well that life was about hardship and struggle, to say the least. 

His desire to pursue a Masters in Public Health at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, was fulfilled in 2011, with the aid given by Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation. Making effective use of the support received, Dr. Tiwari was able to secure a full-time job with State Health Resource Centre, Chhattisgarh in 2012. He then went on to join the German Agency for Developmental Cooperation (GIZ), where he worked until 2015. For the next two years, he moved to ICICI Lombard, Mumbai as an Underwriter. 

Proud to be one of the first people to join the Ayushman Bharat project of the Health Ministry, Government of India, Dr. Arun re-joined GIZ in 2017. Today, Dr. Arun is providing his valuable services to Sir Ratan Tata Trust for Health Systems Transformation Platform. 

HPF is not only immensely pleased with his achievements, but also extremely proud of the fact that Dr. Arun has begun his journey to give back to society by supporting other meritorious and deserving HPF students like himself.

We met Anjali in 2018 when she completed her 10th board exams and aspired to pursue engineering. We found her to be highly determined and a bright student.

Seeing her determination, we recommended a Kolkata based JEE / NEET coaching center - PACE where she could prepare for her entrance exams. Her hard work led to a score of 94.2% in Class 12th board examinations as well as a General Merit Rank of 6547 in the WBJEE 2020.

Subsequently, she got admitted to Techno Main Salt Lake to pursue Computer Science Engineering, 4 years Bachelor degree course. Her performance throughout the course remained commendable with a final CGPA of 9.43 in June ‘24.

HPF supported Anjali throughout her academic journey since 2018. During her Bachelor's program, she also interned at IBM, where she received an offer letter for the role of an Associate System Engineer, which she accepted. 

It has only been a few years since her professional journey started, but Anjali’s unwavering determination to help support other students like her resulted in her being one of the youngest contributors to the foundation. We are extremely proud of what Anjali has achieved so far and wish her the best in all her future endeavors.

We first met Ashish in 2013 when he just cleared his ISC exam and gained admission in St. Xavier’s College for a B. Com degree. He presently holds a Chartered Accountant degree which he qualified in November 2017. We are so proud of him!

HPF supported him with college fees and CA course fees simultaneously.

Life was full of highs and lows for this young man, who belonged to a family of four and watched his father's sincere efforts and struggles to support the family. Despite all odds, he continued to work hard.

His academic performance remained commendable throughout his degree course and he graduated successfully in June ’16.

Today (January 2024), he is the founder of Kedia Classes in Kolkata where he gives classes to commerce students of Class XI-XII and Undergraduate students. 

The dedicated young CA does not only provide coaching to students from established backgrounds but also gives free online classes to deserving underprivileged students.

He is also among the successful scholars of HPF who are contributing back to the foundation to further its mission and we extend our sincere appreciation for his continuous support. We wish him the best in life.

HIS WORDS – I have cleared my CA Final Examinations held in November 2017 due to the support from Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation.

When we first met Ayush in 2016, he had secured admission in Don Bosco School, Liluah for Class XI-XII, post qualifying ICSE with an excellent result. 

Due to financial difficulties at home Ayush and his elder brother, Subham, who was studying engineering, both applied to HPF for a scholarship. 

Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation awarded him a scholarship for his Class XI and XII fees. Ayush, being a sincere and a hardworking student performed really well in ISC scoring 90.75%.

Following his graduation in 2021 from St. Xavier’s College, Ayush began his professional journey with WIPRO Ltd as a Financial Analyst which lasted for a short period of time and subsequently in May ’22 he joined Nation with NaMo.

He was one of the few HPF students who opted for a career in political consulting. Ayush earned 2 years of experience at Nation with NaMo, India's premier political consulting firm, which provides top-of-the-line campaign and election strategies. 

Presently Ayush is pursuing MBA from a premiere B-school of India – IIM Calcutta.

Ayushis thriving as a successful individual and has done us further proud by contributing back to HPF and supporting deserving students like himself.

Piyush Jaiswal stands out as one of the successful scholars of HPF who has achieved success and humility at the same time. We met him in 2010 soon after he was accepted to IIT Kharagpur to study Bachelors in Architecture. Dedicated and passionate, he worked to create something that would inspire others.

Having grown up in a modest family of four, Piyush's father, a private service holder, found it difficult to meet the educational needs of both his younger sister and himself.

Due to his excellent academic record and immense potential, Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation sponsored Piyush's college semester fees.

His Bachelor's degree in Architecture was earned in 2015, but through his engagements with reputed organizations, he gained valuable experience in Analytics, Math, and Data Science.

Currently, he works as an independent AI & Data Consultant, building AI Assistants and Applications across multiple channels. 
It is extremely gratifying to witness his growth into a remarkably successful individual; he has not only made us proud with his accomplishments but also by contributing back to further the noble cause.

Pratik fulfilled his dream of becoming a successful professional when he landed his first job at The D E Shaw Group in 2020 as a Risk Analyst. Being a bright and highly motivated student, he worked hard towards achieving his goal.

His father, a jobholder, worked hard to support his education and that of his elder sister, who was studying graphic design.

On completing ISC board exam in 2015, he pursued Bachelor’s in Economics from Calcutta University followed by a Master’s degree from Madras School of Economics. He successfully completed his Masters in 2020 and received his first job offer.
 
Pratik received educational support from Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation throughout his high school days. 

As of today (January 2024), his role as a Risk Analyst at D E Shaw got promoted to that of a Senior Analyst. He has also made us further proud by being one of the students who has contributed back to HPF. We are extremely gratified by what Pratik has accomplished and wish him the best in life.

After high school, I did BSc. in Economics and then MA in Economics from the Madras School of Economics. Currently, I am working as a Senior Analyst in New York Hedge Fund based in Hyderabad. I have been working for 3 years now and as a gesture of gratitude and to help other students who might have similar needs to what I had once, me and my sister would like to help the foundation any way we can.”
 

HPF is proud to share the story of Sanjana Jha - one of our successful scholars.

The first time we met her was in 2012, when she had just finished her 10th board exams.

She had great potential and was interested in pursuing science for her senior secondary education. It didn't take long for her to realize that engineering was her calling. Henceforth, she studied hard and secured 96% in ISC board exams in 2014 along with securing a WBJEE rank of 5360.

Her mother, a wonderful teacher by profession was the sole breadwinner of the family. Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation supported Sanjana throughout her high school days and also paid for her college admission fees. She studied B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata and successfully graduated in 2018.

Post B.Tech, she gained valuable work experiences from HSBC and Thomson Reuters respectively. Presently, she is employed as a Software Engineer at Delta Airlines.

We met Sanjana recently, and were delighted to hear her progress. She is a shining example of a young, determined girl, who has managed to increase her family’s income 10-fold through her hard work and dedication. 

She has not only helped her family prosper but also stepped forward to help benefit students like her realize their dreams by donating back to the foundation. We are proud of all her accomplishments and wish her continued success.

Sonal demonstrated excellent academic performance throughout her degree course and successfully graduated in 2014. From 2016 – 2019, she worked and gained experience with two companies – Emami Limited, Kolkata and Microland, Bangalore. 

Since June 2023she is employed at Pine Labs, Bangalore as a Deputy Manager. We at HPF feel extremely gratified by her accomplishments
Sonal has also started contributing to HPF to support other meritorious and needy students and sets a brilliant example for all of them. We wish her the best in life!
 

Rishav presently holds the position of an Assistant Manager at Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant since November 2019.

He comes from a family of five members and his father being the only breadwinner of the family had to face great difficulties in raising three children with increasing educational expenses. This did not let Rishav down and he performed very well in his 10th board exam in 2013 and passed with 85% marks.

After 10th board, he applied for a scholarship to Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation for higher studies. Post scrutiny and an interview, he was awarded scholarship for both Class XI and XII. 

In 2015, he successfully completed the board exam with 93% in Commerce and also cleared the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) with a distinction in June ’15. 

Rishav successfully completed his Bachelor’s degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata in 2018 for which we supported him throughout. He had also qualified all the CA exams (CPT, IPCC and Finals) in his 1st attempt. 

His academic success has not only provided him with good employment opportunities, but also inspired him to contribute back to the foundation to further the cause of education.

We met Akshay while he was studying in Class XI. He came across an endearing and dedicated boy and through the years we saw him evolve into an ambitious adult who had set high goals for himself. Akshay had always been excellent in his academics - He aspired to become a Chartered Accountant!

He came from a humble background, the youngest amongst 3 siblings. Due to unprecedented tough times in the family business, Akshay applied for a scholarship. After completing his ICSE board exam with 93% in 2010, Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation awarded him with 100% scholarship towards Class XI – XII school fees. Akshay performed exceptionally well in his ISC board exam in 2012 scoring 95% in Commerce.Subsequently he appeared for the Common Proficiency Test (CA) and cleared the same with distinction! He got admission in St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and HPF awarded him with 50% of admission feeand100% scholarship for the Chartered Accountancy course.

Akshay graduated from St. Xavier’s College in 2015 and also cleared CA Final exam in November 2018. From working with PWC as an Assistant Manager to a Manager in Ernst and Young, Bangalore and now as a Compliance Manager at D E Shaw Group, his journey has been a successful one!

We are extremely proud of what Akshay has achieved through hard work and determination and even prouder of his initiative to give back to HPF to further the cause. We wish him the best for the future!

We met Harsh in 2014 and recognized his potential to become very successful one day! His biggest attribute was his humility and sincerity towards his goals. Like so many others he faced a lot of challenges but kept one thought foremost in his mind –“Consistent hard work will take me a step closer to my dream.”

Harsh cleared ICSE and ISC board exams in 2012 and 2014 with 97.2% and 99% respectively. Having scored excellent marks in ISC, he got admission in Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi for BCom Honors. For him this was a dream come true but there were financial implications too. Being a resident of Kolkata, he had to think of the college hostel expenses and his sister’s educational expenses who at the time was a CA aspirant.

Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation supported him with college fees for 1st year and 100% hostel fees for 2nd & 3rd year. While he was in college, he did an internship with Faber Capital from 2016-17.

In 2017, he passed out from SRCC, Delhi University with 83.85% and he was offered a job with Futures First as a Derivatives Trader. Subsequently he did his MBA and upon graduating from IIM-Ahmedabad in 2021, with Institute Rank 15, he was offered a placement as Investment Banking Analyst with Citi, Mumbai. HPF is proud of this young man who not only thrives in his career but simultaneously supports our noble cause at the same time.

“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments” – Vivek believed in this aphorism wholeheartedly and despite the odds he was extremely focused and was able to successfully accomplish his goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant!

Vivek comes from a family of many members. His grandparents were retired and his uncle tried his level best to support Vivek and his sister along with his own family. Since his parents had passed away when he was still very young, his school took up his academic responsibilities as well. He proved himself to be an excellent student and passed Class X in 2010 with 92% and Class XII in 2012 with 93%. Subsequently he got admission in St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata for B. Com (Hons). In 2012, Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation awarded him a scholarship for college fees and CA Course fees. He successfully graduated in 2015 with a GPA of above 7 and completed CA and CS both together in 2016 in his first attempt! 

In 2017, Vivek got placed in Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Kolkata in the Statutory Audit Department. He worked there for a year then he got an opportunity with BSR &Co. LLP, a member firm of KPMG International's audit firm network. A gifted student, Vivek set out to achieve something big and today he is a Manager at Ernst & Young, Kolkata. Not only does this conscientious young man support his family but also contributes back to HPF so that well deserved candidates such as himself can realize their dreams. We are proud to have him as a scholar of our foundation.
